Ahi Sushi This simple, stylish site was created for a sushi restaurant on Ventura Blvd. The owner and chef, Jimmy Wu creates incredible custom and classic creations, and wanted to present his restaurant to the public with the same flair for style that he used in the design/build of the interior of the restaurant.
GalleryReady This project was a team effort with a partner company, SolutionReady. The site was a complete system for instant rollout of complete media gallery websites. They developed the backend and we designed the entire frontent - graphics, layout, templates, css styling, all the eye candy. This is just one of a myriad of "Ready" solutions we're working on for simple deployment by end-users. Upon signup, users have full control over their entire gallery, including multiple templates.
Loungedivine Loungedivine was (they have since close their doors) a post-modern, alternative, evangelical Christian church. For this project, we took the clients initial concept and desire to break from traditional "church" look and feel, and adapted that to the web. We did on-location photography and created a unique, edgy "home" feel for their site. Each area of the living space corresponded with a section of the site. We used an animated entry page which allowed the visitor a hands-on exploring interaction. The site included a content management system, event calendar, online forum and media gallery. Since they've transitioned to other things, the site in being revamped for other uses. You can still view the intro (links don't work) to get a feel for the site.
Harbinger-Group (www.harbinger-group.com) This project was to redesign the existing site, and pull together a large number of separate sections and pages into a simple, concise, user-friendly system for easy navigation. We used a simple, custom javascript menu system to allow access to any page, from any page. Color scheme requested was cool and soft, with a slight "techie" feel.
From Water to Wine™ (www.fromwatertowine.com) This site was designed for a local Minneapolis event & conference planning company. The complete project included logo design and website design. Read their "about us" page - the name has a great double meaning. We like this site's very non-traditional look and feel, and love the bouncy navigation.
Quick Connect Communications (www.myqcc.com) This site was a redesign of their existing site, which they felt didn't match their image. We toned down the bright orange and black they were using, and chose a more traditional blue/tan color palette to match their other identity pieces. We adjusted the overall "cartoony" image of the existing site, and gave them a more reserved, stable appearance appropriate for their industry.
Worldwide Missions Thrift Center (www.worldwidemissionsthriftcenter.org) WMTC is an organization like The Salvation Army. They sell donated goods, with all proceeds going directly to smaller ministries. They needed a quick and easy site with a very short turnaround time. We exceeded their expectations.
